About Me

My name is Sarah Crickenberger. I am a missionary from West Virginia. I moved on September 3, 2011, to Tegucigalpa, Honduras and have been here since. After serving in various capacities and learning much in my own process and journey with Jesus, I have learned a bit more clearly what my calling is and why I am here. In 2014, I started a non-profit ministry here in Honduras called Ministerio Familia de Promesa (or Family of Promise Ministry). Our primary focus is on the most lost and in need, especially street kids, though we look for every opportunity to stop for the one person God places in front of us.

My heart in ministry apart from my love for street kids is in worship and using God's strategies to carry out His missions. And, I also am dedicated to seeing the Honduran church send out a new generation of missionaries to other parts of the world.

In July of 2017, I got married to my Honduran husband, Raúl Ramírez. We had known each other for ten years, had been friends since I'd moved here, and had been a couple for three years. Raúl is a small business owner, and he also has a heart for working with young people. We are developing our life together as we seek to fulfill our God-given calling. Thank you for all of your prayers and support and for reading our updates!
